Meet the Author
Years ago I began writing in the blog world as a means to share my failures and triumphs as a wife and mother, in hopes that it would encourage other Christian wives and mothers in their own journey. I wrote for Serving God and Family for 5 years and recently decided that chapter of my writing had come to an end. Here's the next chapter!
Reformation Home defines my philosophy about being a wife, a homemaker and a mother. Over the years I've allowed, to some degree, distraction to creep in and steal my focus off of my number one priority - my home. I've gotten caught up in what everyone else is doing, trying to force fit square pegs in round holes, and would you believe that just doesn't work?
I'm a Reformed Christian. I believe in God's Supreme Sovereignty to do with His creation as He so pleases. I agree with the Doctrines of Grace, the 5 Solas, and the London Baptist Confession of 1689. My theological beliefs will be a huge part of my writings for this blog.
Semper Reformanda - "Always Reforming" - is one of the charges from the Reformed camp and I believe it must also be so for the wife in her home. Every aspect of motherhood should be viewed through the lenses of God's Sovereignty and purpose. Why did he create me to be a "keeper at home"? I believe, ultimately for His glory. I pray that this is what I convey through Reformation Home - Soli Deo Gloria!
By His Grace,
